Most people already know the amazing health benefits of Tulsi or Holy Basil, but not many know it has some great beauty and self-care properties too. This ancient herb is one of the most loved plants in Ayurveda and Herbalism. It is used to treat eye pain, improve immunity, heal insect bites, and ease joint aches. Tulsi is also filled with vitamins, antifungal agents, and antioxidants, and is proven to calm acne, fight dandruff and control hair loss.

I am not a practising clinical herbalist and the following is based on my research and experience. If you are foraging in the wild, please be 100% sure of the identification of the plant.
